The group also called on the Federal Government not to be distracted by calls from groups in a section of the country for a change in the leadership of the amnesty programme.

Speaking in Kaduna on Sunday May 29, 2016, the Secretary General of Hope Arewa Development Initiative (HADI),Mallam Musa Wada, said Amnesty programme is a national project which must be supported by all Nigerians considering the role it has played in stabilizing the polity.
