Yolanda Hadid, won’t let anyone talk down on her daughter’s fast rising modeling career and go scot-free.
In
an exclusive interview with TMZ, Yolanda bashed Stephanie Seymour for
calling Gigi Hadid and Kendall jenner “b****es of the moment” during her
interview with Vanity Fair.
"
it's
sad to see some of these beautiful semi-retired supermodels, who are
mothers themselves now, feel the need to publicly put down someone
else's daughter," Yolanda said.
Yolanda went on to thrash Seymour’s comment that the gorgeous '90s crew of models was the last supermodels to grace the runway.
Gigi’s
mother believes that her daughter have all it takes to be called a
supermodel, she has a good height, great looks, she is hardworking and a
mentor to many young models.
While Gigi already
have her mother speak for her, Kendall Jenner commented on Shephanie
Seymour’s opinion about them on her app saying; " I guarantee you
that she didn't imagine someone so publicly shaming her daughter when
she made those comments about us being ''bitches of the moment,
“
No one is trying to steal Stephanie Seymour's thing, or trying to be
her, if people want to call Gigi and i supermodels now, it doesn’t take
anything away from supermodels of the past,
“Obviously,
I have so much respect for those women, but right now, we're the models
of this time. Significant? Maybe. Hardworking? For sure,” Kendall said.
“There
are other supermodels who give me tips and build up my confidence,
sending me notes after a spread comes out, saying, ''You're killing
it.'' That's the classy way to behave and I fully intend on being a
positive influence on anyone younger than me, my entire life,” Kendall
added.
This is not the first time Gigi and Kendall has been slammed as the new age models.
