Soures connected to Amber Heard and Johnny Depp's case have revealed the "Pirates of the Caribbean"
star wants Amber Heard to keep certain details of their divorce proceedings private to protect their privacy.
US Weekly have also obtained court documents the actor filed on Friday, July 15, 2016.
According to the papers, “All
documents produced by [Depp] in this action and/or any third parties
subpoenaed in this action … shall be designated as ‘Confidential
Information’ herein.”
All this comes after Amber Heard filed for divorce from the actor after 15 months of marriage this May, requesting financial and more personal documents.
“Johnny
does not dispute that Amber is entitled to the majority of the
information sought in her discovery requests and subpoena. He is willing
to produce the documents necessary for Amber’s evaluation of the
relevant issues in this case, such as division of community estate and
spousal support. He has asked, however, that a confidentially agreement
be executed prior to the production of documents in order to protect the
parties’ privacy.”
The filing also
claims that Depp’s legal team sent a proposed confidentiality agreement
to Heard’s lawyer on May 27, but that the actress’ attorney allegedly
said neither she nor Heard would sign the agreement.
Recall
that Heard filed a restraining order against the star days after filing
for divorce, claiming that Depp abused her throughout their marriage,
which he denied.
Their next court hearing has been scheduled for September 8, 2016.
