Gianni Infantino FIFA President to visit Lagos in July

President of world football –governing body, FIFA, Gianni Infantino is set to visit Lagos later in July on a two-day working visit.

Infantino on Sunday, July 10 met with president of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) Amaju Pinnick in Paris, France where he confirmed the visit.

According to Pinnick, the FIFA president will meet with Governor of Lagos, Akinwunmi Ambode during his visit on the second day of his visit.

Infantino who will be accompanied by his Secretary General,  Fatma Samoura, will hold a meeting with African FA Presidents and also attend an evening session with Corporate Nigeria in Lagos.

The FIFA president will attend the finals of the NFF/ZENITH Bank Future Eagles Championship before attending a welcome dinner organised by the League Management Company (LMC).

Before visiting Lagos, the FIFA president will first pay a courtesy call to President Muhammadu Buhari at the Aso Rock Presidential Villa.
